OK..
This is a silly question, maybe dumb....BUT...
Can you record a DVD disc full of music and then play it on a CD player.
You know instead of 700meg of music you got 4.7gig of music.
Thanks

nope -- dvd disks wil only play in a dvd player
to bad though ...."Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650) -
however you can do it so that it plays on DVD players......(solves the storage problems, but reduces machinery you can play it on)
search the guides...there is one for getting about 40 CD's worth of music onto one DVD.

A concert DVD can be stream ripped by chapter to rip only the PCM/AC3 tracks. You will need to re-sample from 48000 to 44100 to be CD compatible. Then burn to a CDR like any audio disk. The audio track even on a dual layer disk is unlikely to be more than 700MB's(AC3),even a PCM track will usually fit although you need to edit toget it on one CDR or span it over two CDR's.
This is the way I rip DVD to audio CD.
