SmartRipper crashes my computer agghhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!

can any of u guy help me when i start smartripper a blue screen pops up and say program halted etc. what is happening can any of u guys help me with this problem

Sorry mate i have searched everywhere for this answer as i have the same problem, havent tried it with win xp yet though. In the meantime i had to use clandvd which seems to do the same job just as well.

Ok, easy does it, get the following:

Latest IDE drivers for your mainboard (VIA or Intel or whatever you got)
Check if you have and if not then install Latest ASPI Layer v4.60 Build 1021

Check for DMA and Sync Enabled on your DVD and HDD drive, and then report
back here and let me know.

Also try DVDDecryptor, it's easier to use. If you are doing a complicated movie then try Vstrip.
