I have been quite successfully converting avi's to mpegs to author to dvd & have always extracted the audio from the avi file as recommended in the guides to avoid any potential synch problems.
I'm having problems saving a .Wav file using VirtualDub with certain files and am instead prompted with this message :-
'The requested audio compression is not compatible with the input format. Check that the sampling rate and channel count of the input match those of the requested format.'
I have no idea what this means. Could someone less clueless than me please help.
File Info from GSpot:
Video Codec : Xvid
