  1. Hello,

I wonder if someone could explain why this happens. I have a ripped DVD movie with a resolution of 480 x 480. The movie is in 16:9, which means that it has black borders on top and bottom. So far so good.

When I watch the DVD on my TV-set the picture doesn´t however fill up the full screen as usual. What happens is that I can se the full picture in 16:9 but the picture is small and doesn´t use the full width of the screen.

    Can anybody give an explanation?

Sorry, no. 480 x 480 is not a true resolution for DVD. Either encode it as a DVD-SVCD. or rip it again as a true DVD.
    Hello.
