    Well...if you are using 3.5, I use..

    Bitrate: 1150
    Motion: 20
    352x240
    GOP at every header.
    field frame A first.

    That's about it..then I take the mpg that it created and send it over to Nero and burn..

    pop it in my Panasonic A-310 DVD player and viola!!!
