    I taped a show of tv with my tv tuner and I need a cutter to take out the commercials that were recorded.. I know tmpgenc can do it but then u have to rencode the file.. is there any program out there that will simply allow me to cut these commercials out without reconding? thanks

    tmpgenc can also cut with out re-encode

    Or my new favorite Mpeg2schnitt. It can be found on doom9 along with a small and easy to use guide. I think you have to demux the streams first, but that's not a big deal to me. Plus, it's free!
