question: I have about 8 gigs of video clips I've downloaded over the years that I'd like to burn off to DVD for backup. I tried it once as DVD Bridge format (UDF1.02/ISO) and it works okay but playback directly from the disc is jumpy. Is there a better way to burn it so the clips play back correctly or is this just a result of the way the drive reads the disc? I can copy the files back to the HD and they play just fine. Maybe a different version of UDF or burning DVD-ROM ISO would be better?

Just burn it as a data disk, then it will play back correctly. I don't know what format that is in Nero. I only use the wizard, Nero StartSmart. Works every time

I'll have to try the wizards then instead of wasting more DVDs. I usually just use Burning ROM, but I don't typically burn data DVDs.
