  1. This is a 2 part question...First, I downloaded an app called Style-XP which is suppose to pretty much be like all those other apps like Stardock, which allow you to make-over what your windows looks like. Anyway, past apps have eaten up resources like crazy. Has anyone used this particular one, and if so, has it been a resource killer??? I can't really tell with this one. If anyone knows of a cool one (As in an app to use to make windows look cooler) please let me know.

THe second part of my question IS the way I found this app was by looking for themes for Plus! Can anyone post some cool places to get some cool themes!?

I've browsed through themes online and never found any I liked. You can actually go to the website of the same company that makes StyleXP and download the beta style editor and make your own. I messed with it a little and it has a rather steep learning curve, but I was able to muddle through what I wanted to change. There is a lot of stuff to change in order to maintain continuity between menu windows, menus, taskbar, start menu and all that. I just wanted something really dark, like a black pearlescent effect for my taskbar instead of silver or blue. One thing I did notice though, if you mess with the style editor and apply something you don't like and can't undo it you can do a system restore back to the point before you messed with it to get the default XP styles back. When editing use a Windows style you don't use, like that ugly olive green one

I use windowblinds for my XP and Wincustomize for my boot screens....no problems and I dont see any differance in resources other than at startup, and even that is no big deal for the cool styles I like to run.
If at first you don't succeed; call it version 1.0
