  1. toshiba wont play jack usually, cdr/cdrw

    so would say a 3109 or 3107 or any other toshiba play a dvdr, any experiences by u ppl?

  2. i have a 3109, the best thing i've tried that plays good are memorex cd-rw's, and that's about it. it can't play at resolutions other than the standard vcd ones, and it can't play svcd. I read someone's comments about the player that said they couldn't get the Apple dvd-r discs to work in it.

    the only thing that i can do that works to gain a little bit of quality is increasing the bitrate. I can't convert a movie and play it on my tv without seeing ******* blocks and shit during the fadeouts and dark scenes.
