Hi all. I recently got a DVD Burner and have heen playing with creation of DVD's (personal movies) and also backing up my kid's DVD's. I've just got a question regarding the end product of a DVD copy.

Duron 1200, Windows XP, AOpen4410 burner, 384 MB, 60 GB, Radeon

I used DVDDecrypter -> DVDShrink -> IMGBurn -> Koss DVD player, all of which work great. (I tried Nero to burn, but got odd results sometimes)
All drivers are up to date.

When I backed up the movie "Sword in the Stone", the camera angle icon (different language selection) appears in the top right corner of the main movie, which does not happen in the original DVD. It eventually disappears after the credits end and the main movie starts. My question is, is there anyway to get rid of this? Some setting in any of the products?
In DVDShrink, I tried with/without the extra languages and also tried Shrinking to one DVD and also the full burn to two DVD's. Same behaviour.
The camera icon does not appear when playing back on the PC. Does this mean that the issue is with the player? I'll be trying the DVD on other players asap.

This is not a real problem, but just trying to understand the behaviour of the products.

For testing, I've been using DVD+RW disks, but the final burn I did to DVD+R did the same thing.

    cheers!

btw: these free products are awesome and greatly appreciated. Check out this free virus scanner: www.grisoft.com. I've been using it for years.

    Yes.

I have the same problem with my player. What you're seeing is the multi-angle icon. It indicates (or at least is supposed to) that you can switch between different video streams, usually to see the same scene from a different angle, bonus footage, fx tests, etc. My player *always* shows the icon and it doesn't seem to be something that can be turned off. Interestingly enough, my copy of The Lion King (Disney again!) does the same thing near the end credits. The icon shows up and won't go away, but there's no second video track. I'm still at a loss as to why it happens.

  3. I've had this problem once or twice. I just burned Phenomenon and the multi-angle icon appeared over the opening credits and then for a few seconds near the end. Weird.
