  1. just wanted to let you guys know first that i done this before, so this error is pretty weird.

i have a .mkv file with two audio streams and 1 subtitle stream, i can play the .mkv file fine with windows media player classic but not with the normal windows media player, but that isnt my problem. I cant seem to demux the audio using virtualdubmod(this is my first time seeing this error), i think i have all the codecs installed because i can play the file with windows media player classic fine, but who knows. Also, i cant save the file to .ogm with virtualdubmod(i use to be able to do this), it says video problem or whatever. when i open the .mkv file with virtualdubmod i get an error at the bottom that says "Error decompressing video frame 0: An unknown error occurred...." anyone know how to fix this problem?

  3. You sure you don't have the codec? Do you have a VFW CODEC? (Video for Windows, you need a DirectShow filter)...

open it in AVIcodec to be sure.
