  1. I reinstalled TMPGenc
and now if i want to convert a avi file to a svcd file
i can't adjust the bitrate at the end of the wizard
it is always stuck at 1600.
Who can i change the bitrate setting like i was able to do before ?

If you try and set it to 1200, then don't bother. I wouldn't reccomend anything lower than 1600, and actually prefer 2000+. Do a test encoded to see what the quality is.....

  8. bambam: Are you using the video file as both the video AND audio? I don't know if it's a bug or what, but if I had an avi, say video with .wav in it, tmpg wouldn't let me drop to a certain disc % no matter what if I had it have a/v as the same file. Once I extracted the wav and just used it separately I was able to keep whatever bitrate I wanted.

  9. I usually use the same source for audio and video
I only split the audio and video when the first method don't work...

The other thing you might want to consider is to not use the wizard. In normal mode, Load your video and audio files. Load your template. Load the unlock template. Change the bitrate.
    If in doubt, Google it.
