  1. i have a music dvd and wish to make an audio cd from it how do i rip the sound only i have dun many dvd rips b4 using smartripper....dvd2avi....TMPGEncso any help would be great

    Use smartripper, select stream processing and select the audio track, that you want. You can choose direct stream copy, then you will end with a .vob file. You can chose demux to extra file, then you will end with a .AC3 or .lpcm file or something like this. If you use azid to decode the audio track, you need to save it as .AC3 instead of .vob. DVD2AVI's audio decoder accept both as far as I know.
