  1. This has probably been covered a million times, but hey..

I'm using Ulead VideoStudio 7. I keep my audio to 48Khz, when I play and look at my final clips that I make from a DV camcorder, everything is fine. Even up to the last preview, everything is in sync....

    BUT

When it's burned onto a DVD, the sound ALWAYS leads the picture by about 2 seconds. Why is this? I have tried everything. It's costing me afortune in DVD's. Surely there must be a simple tick box I can check?

    Any help? Please????

Starting today inis forum, I noticed sync problem to be the most reported ones. I just posted somewhere else the below:

One of the reasons audio and video is out of sync is caused by the DVD player not being fast enough to handle the bitrate.

This specially happens when you create your own video (not just copying a DVD movie to another DVD), and (re-)mpeg it. As you probably want to get the highest quality possible, the codec will generate a file with a very high bitrate. Many (stand alone) DVD players simply cannot handle these high bitrates.

At least that's what I found out after going completely crazy and blaming my software, my burner, my TV, etc! I always thought that it couldn't be my DVD player, as it would play copies of DVD movies (burned on the same media) without a problem.

So, try to find a setting to limit the bitrate.

    Good luck!
