I own Sex and Lucia (Lucia y el Sexo) and I want to make a backup copy of it. I did reauthor and movie only, kept the 5.1 Spanish audio but not the 2.0 Spanish audio. And I kept the subtitles. However after burning the subtitles dont show up on my standalone player (Sony DVP-NS715P), but they show up fine on WinDVD and PowerDVD. I tried running "get vts sectors" on ifoedit, and even changing the subtitle colors. Nothing I've done has helped. This is a strange problem, I've never encountered it on a foriegn language film with subtitles. Anyone have any thoughts?

here's a thread that might help you. This guy had the same problem with that movie. he couldn't get the subs to appear when using dvdshrink. He was able to resolve the problem by using clonedvd2: sneak preview.
