  1. When i go to create a batch encode i can't just add files into a batch encode list, it actually asks me to open a list. How do i actually create a list? :Tougue twister:

I remember on an older version what i had, youb could just add files and click go.

OK, first set-up everything is TMPGEnc just like you would if you were to make just 1 movie. When you get to the part where you would normally hit the "Start" button, go to "File", drop down to "Add current project to batch list", pick your output type, and you are done. Keep going until you are ready to start the batch encode then got to "File", "Batch Encode", and a little window will pop-up with all the projects you want to encode in it.
Hit "Run" nad off you go.

Try re-installing the software. Also check the HD to be sure there is enough space.

illegal streanm format like it does when it asks for a list

just make and save each project 1 at a time then open batch encode click ADD to add projects
If your getting illegal streanm sounds like source is iffy to start with

MainConcept MPEG Encoder can allegedly batch encode (don't work for me - as soon as I add 2nd project 1st one disapears from list!! )
