    Is there a program to tell if a video is progressive or not? I have a 640x480 quicktime clip that does not show any interlacing artifacts when I convert it without deinterlacing it. Is this a progressive scan video?

    If they were mpegs you could try Restream. Take a look at the tools section and see if there is something that works with QT files.

    if it does not show any interlcing artifacts, then it is progressive! (Does not mean the source was progressive, but it is progressiv now and that's all that matters.
