Have already captured the footage from my ATI 9700 AIW TV application, and saved it as an MPG file..

I then copied it to my Mac with QT Pro 6.5, and it does play just as I captured it from the other machine- with sound and everything.

But, unfortunately, QT's editing commands are greyed out and I'm not able to extract any part of the MPG movie and/or edit it down to a manageable size/quality for the web.

The track menu says 'Muxed MPEG2'. I've already tried converting to a .mov file (took a hella long time), but the end result left with me with a video track only.

I even imported the MPEG file into Final Cut Pro, but again, I only have the video track and no sound.

Is there something I can do on the PC side FIRST, to ensure I will have sound and be able to edit this file in QT for the Mac? I got some software on the ATI CD, but I haven't looked at or tried to install any of it to know what I have...

Anyone?
