    this drive should b writing normal cd`s at 24x but mine will only go at 12x lol,i have firmware H installed.Any ideas folks?cheers

    Media? tdk or imation? Sometimes you have to use the old firmware.

    nah they r discplanet cd`s,i have used them at 24x in the past,but its just recently they have been only going at 12,this sony drive is doing my head in !!!!!!
