HELP!! Any one else have this problem?
Sony DCRTRV38 and bad firewire port straight from factory!!!
After some fairly good research on miniDV I decide on the Sony DCRTRV38. Well unfortunately I received my shinny new camcorder and from the box it would not link to IEEE-1394. All else worked but I have been beating my head against the proverbial wall now for 5 days. Sony SUCKS, so far and each day I become more and more pissed off. Today I finally found some one I could understand their version of the English language. I have now turned the whole sorted event over to my credit card company and will not even go in to the headache and details. I was more wondering if an one else has on this forum had a similar problem with this effected Sony line of products?
Well, apparently I am not alone in my misery, a link of others in the same sinking boat!
