I am using Nero 6 latest. I have a 230 meg avi movie file that says svcd in the file name. When I creat a vcd the top and bottom are cut off like I have zoomed the dvd player. When I try to create a svcd after encoding it says that it wont fit and gives up. The setting to try to fit on a 74minute cd is turned on. Can this be done?

Yes.
Split the movie into two parts.
Encode each with TMPGEnc to SVCD.
Burn 2 disks.Cheers, Jim
