  1. Ive been told that to get avi onto dvd i need to convert them to mpeg then use a dvd author program. the quality of the avi films is good and when i convert them to mpeg their not as good. what is the best way to get my avi films onto a dvd without losing the quality

    If you want to play it on a DVD player then you need to convert it, if you only want to play it on your computer then no.
