  1. I created a disc with a main menu but no submenus. The main menu shows up when the disc is loaded, but when a title is selected and playing, the "menu" button on my remote refuses to work (displays the "function unavailable" icon).

Is there a setting in TDA that enables/disables this? Or in the IFO file?

    Thanks for any help!

You didn't create a menu, so the button doesn't work. Try hitting the title button, since that's all you created.

  3. I guess I should have explained that the "menu" button on my remote normally shows the main menu of the dvd. The "title" button allows me to choose a track number.

Just to clarify: the main menu allows selecting of all the tracks on the disc I created; I turned off the option for displaying chapter submenus. The problem is that once a track from the main menu is selected and playing, I can't get back to the main menu. I hope that makes sense.

  4. My guess would be if you told TMPGEnc DVD Author to go to the track menu after the movie has played, there may be no instructions to link back to the main menu.

    Just a thought...
