  1. Hi!
    I would like to connect my dxr3 card to my sony str db840 receiver, but I don't know how.
    The card has a sp dif contact on the back and I know that I'm suposued to use that but wich cables should I use, and where should I connect the cable on the receiver??

  3. Alvedon, maybe I can help I have the same receiver, which out put are you refering to on the card (my reciever is wired all over the house) nice box

  4. I have been using my dxr3 (with latest sigma designs hollywood plus drivers via Remote Selector) to my Sony 5.1 receiver for a long time. You just connect a phono cable between the card's sp/dif connector to the receiver's 5.1 digital coaxial connector. The connectors on both ends are just phono type. Make sure you use a high quality phono cable. I then connect the dxr3 s-video to my s-video input on the receiver. It works perfectly.
