editing a movie from dvd recorder

Hi, I want to edit and cut etc. etc. a movie that I ripped from a dvd to hd, so I have this *.vob file,how do I edit this one? meaning: cut the first 3 minutes remove the 15 minutes commercial in the middle and cut the 5 last minutes from the movie, so I'll keep only the movie in one piece, and then burn it again to a dvd+r as a dvd video, what do I need and how will I do that? anyway thx for the help, pete.

TMPGENC DVD Author will do all of that. You'll also probably need to get the AC3 plugin for TMPGENC DVD Author.

Hi, me again, whit this note I want to thank macleod and specialist for there support !!I have dicided to use TMPGenc dvd author, it is good easy and not expensive,.....anyway, thanks again, pete.
