  1. Hi ChrissyBoy!

I was wondering if its supported by "SVCD2DVD", to have more than one audio language?

I've searched the forum and found out from older postings, that this isn't possible..

Are you in the process of implementing such a function?

many many thanks, for a great program!

are you talking about SVCDs with two audio streams or mpegs with one language on one of the stereo channels and another on the other channel?

  3. Hi ChrissyBoy!

I suppose its, mpegs with one language on one of the stereo channels and another on the other channel.

Because in the, svcd2dvdlog file its says:
INFO: [???] Found 1 audio streams and 1 video streams

So, I'm very much interested in trying that new option you´ve been developing!

Can you hear two languages at the same time when you play the mpg?

  5. I'm not sure if SVCD2DVD is able to do this (Chrissyboy is definitely the right person to ask) but I do know that TMPGEnc DVD Author has a 'Bilingual' function, which if activated, will encode compliant VCD mpegs (with different languages on right & left channels) to create a DVD with selectable audio. According to the TMPGEnc website, this is what the 'Bilingual' function was intended for. Have tried it myself and it works.

It is supported in my new release of SVCD2DVD but i need some testers. I just want to clarify between the two types of 'Bilingual' in Babbage's case.

    ChrissyBoy, no I can not.
    Not at the same time..

What I can do, is selecting 2 different "audio tracks", in both PowerDVD and on my standalone Philips 752.
The first one is the main "audio" for the film, and the second one is a director's commentary.

    hmm..
So, does this mean that my movie has 2 audio streams?

    thanx for taking the time..
