I need to no what I did wrong when I used DVD Shrink to backup a dvd of mine. I want to leave the closed captioning in the copy but missed it somewhere in the copy. I used DVD Shrink, Autoshrink, and Nero to backup the dvd. Where did I go wrong?
A little guidance for a newbie, please.![]()

Some versions took out the captions, get the newest version, its got better features anyway.

I used version 3.1.3
I will try the newer version. Do you have a link to the newer version?
thanks for your replies.

Hmmm.... DVD Shrink (hint...link) keeps subpicture intact since at least v3.1.4, when I started using it. I always have to un-select it for each Title.

A newb question.
i downloaded version 3.1.5
do i need to uninstall version 3.1.3 first and install 3.1.5 or
just install the newer version? -
Latest release is 3.1.6 and a newver beta version 3.1.7b4. I install over every release and just change the exe from the beta download.

I went to dvdshrink.org and the version there is 3.1.3.
the links there were older versions.
I also went to dvdshrink.info page and they have suspended downloads from their site. the link here for dvdshrink takes you to dvdshrink.org
does any body have a link to a site with the newest (3.1.6) version for download?

i just checked, the dvdshrink.org site does have the latest versions(3.1.6 and 3.1.7b4). Go to www.dvdshrink.org then click on the american flag, then click where.
It's on that page. Enjoy! -
@bballnut, are you using any proxy/cache, you may need to clear your cache, there is 3.1.6 release (4 links) and 3.1.7 beta 3, beta 4 and beta 5.

Where is DVD Shrink?
DVD Shrink is freeware. Use the links below to download your own copy:
· Current stable version: 3.1.6 - 02/23/2004
If you don't see that, then there is a problem with your browser.
