Narrowed the DV capture software choices down to three:
Scenalyzer Live - Checked out trial version.. Seems to want to install itself rather than being a non-bloated standalone executable like the other two.
DVIO - Tiny, but lacks any sort of preview. And a preview would be, well, nice.
WinDV - Small and with a preview. However, it boasts the feature of automatically splitting the AVI up based on the time&date information in the DV video, and this is something I don't need. Unfortunately, the program doesn't seem to have any option for disabling it.
Anyone know how this might be done? Or can DVIO show me previews? These three are the only ones I've heard of which reportedly don't exhibit the problems of dropped frames or frame slippage.
