I'm not sure what the deal is, but I am having trouble using Nero under my Win2k system. For some reason, when I try to burn just a DivX .avi file to CD, I get an error message of "Could not create End Process" or something like that. I tried again with a different make of media, but to no avail. I tried reinstalling it, but it still did the same thing.

Also, I tried to install Nero's ImageDrive. Towards the end of the installation process, it stated that it did not have a digital signature, and that it might not work with my version of Windows, so I canceled the setup. However, it had already installed. So, I tried uninstalling it via Add/Remove programs, but to no avail. It would just bring up the uninstall window for less than a second, and then it would disappear. I tried this a few times, but it didn't work.

I then uninstalled and reinstalled Nero. I tried installing ImageDrive again, but it prompted me with two options:

1. Update to latest ImageDrive version (which it already was; only said this because it detected ImageDrive)

OR

2. Uninstall

I tried uninstalling, but didn't work. I then tried updating to current version. It seemed to do it, but then when I tried to uninstall it, it did the same thing it had done before.

In any case, how do I uninstall it? Does this have anything to do with the problems that I am having with burning? Should I uninstall it manually by deleting it from the Nero folder? Are there system files that I might miss if I do this?

Also, I don't even know what ImageDrive does. What does it do? Do I need it?
