Please let me preface this question by, first off, thanking everyone who makes this site work...I am far from a video pro, but thanks to all the help guides, have been able to convert a PAL DVD to NTSC...not an easy task...

My current dilemma ties in with the issue of trying to clone some multisession DVD-R's sent to me by a friend...these are boots of concerts from a group which is bootleg friendly, by the way.

When I run Disc Copier on my Plextor 708-A, the software alerts me to the fact that this is a multisession source, and asks if I will be burning to DVD-R or other media, though it suggested that the copying process would proceed no matter what answer I gave...I responded "yes", and have twice created coasters...once the blank media is inserted, within a few seconds I get an error message about, I think it said, logic buffer error...I was so p.o.'d, I forgot to write down the specifics. In the meantime, I have discs which have one session of nothing, and I guess are otherwise useless. I did try a second time to copy one of the discs, and when I stuck it in my DVD player, it showed the initial menu, but if I clicked "enter" or "play" on the highlighted single concert on the disc, nothing happened.

So, I wonder, what do I need to do here? Do I need to rip the original discs with DVDDecrypter or equivalent, and then reburn via steps of DVD2AVI, TMPGencPlus, and DVD authoring software of choice? Ironically, each of the source DVD's only has one concert, so guess I don't understand why the original creator of these discs made them multisession.
