It's a scale that rates the baby on things like reflexes, color, lung sounds, etc. A 9 is a very good score.

I can't even watch casualty or ER on tv, that would scare the living shite out of me.

We didn't go, my wife said she was shattered, plus she said she knew I didn't want to go.
A little disagreement followed in that I was prepared to go and that she shouldn't use my lack of support for a bath full of slime, blood and embryonic fluid for not going.
Upshot is she stills wants a water birth, so we're probably gona have to learn real fast when the baby comes.
One thing I did say was, I ain't getting in the water with her
