I am thoraughly confused by the resolution setting instructions in TMPGEnc Plus! After downloading a movie file that has a resolution value of 640X360 and using TMPGEnc Plus to encode it can the resolution output be changed to a number used by NTSC compliant televisions (720X480 352X240 etc) during the encoding process?
If you have allready encoded a file to 640X360 can it be changed to a resolution that can be authored in TMOGEnc Author to create a DVD?

If you already have an mpeg with a 640x360 resolution there's not anything you can do to make it a DVD compliant resolution. If you have source files with odd resolutions, change the video arrange method to "Full Screen(keep aspect ratio)", just make sure you are using a legal DVD resolution. You can do this by opening up the settings dialog and clicking on the advanced tab.

Try resizing it to 720x400 and add a 40 line border at the top and bottom to make it a 720x480 frame.

Actually, TMPGEnc will automatically resize it to 720x480 since your file perfectly fits into a 4:3 ratio. It's cool for a DVD. Just set Source Aspect to 4:3 in Advanced tab and shiznits and arrange method to full screen (keep aspect ratio). W00T.
