Hi I'm have a problem with a movie. The picture is great but the sound gets incresingly ahead of the picture. By the end of the film the sound is about 20 sec. infront. It's bloody annoying!

Opening the file in GSpot I see that the AVI is 64kbs. I set TMPEnc to 128kbs in the Audio Tab. Would this have upset this sync? I thought that the 64 was just too low. Would it have sounded bad at 64?

So, do I re-do the encoding procedure at 64 or is there another way to go about this?

    thanks

Does the avi go out of sync or just the mpeg you made? If it's the mpeg, did you decompress the avi audio to wav before converting to mpeg?

    Just a siggestion here:

    1. Decompress the avi audio to wav

    2. Use FFMPEG to convert the wav to mp2

    3. Use TMPGEnc's MPEG Tools to mux the new audio with your mpeg's video.

Keep in mind that this will only work if your avi's audio and video are the same length. If they aren't then you'll have to fix it somehow with an audio editor before converting to mp2. Good luck!
