    My TMPGenc won't encode this episode I downloaded. I watched the episode and the picture freezes in the middle and the sound keeps going. I you fast foward a bit though it continues. Is there any way I can fix it because the encoder keeps stopping at the part where the video freezes and it is making me mad!

    that sounds like a common divx 3.11 problem..

    I have successfully converted movies with bad frames by frameserving them from V-Dub to TMPGenc. Try that.
    If the bad frames aren't to bad, you aren't getting any out of sync audio.
