I just received 13 DVDs in a trade from a very reputable source, and for some reason the Stand Alone Authored discs, have slow down problems on my Toshiba SD-4900. I have received many discs from this source in the past and this is the first time that I have noticed such problems.
Basically a few frames drop here and there. No audio problems.
The PC Authored DVDs that I received in this trade have no slow down issues.
All discs were recorded on Ritek G04 Media at 4x.
These are not DVD Rips, but DVDs created from tape & Laserdisc source material
I am not knocking Stand Alone authored DVDs, as I have no problem with them.
Just trying to pinpoint the problem, so that I can fully enjoy these great shows!
Thanks!
Milan
