How do I go about converting an SVCD I've burned back to an mpeg file?

That gets the file onto the hard drive, but you can't play it as an regular MPEG2.
Someone here in the forum asked this question recently and then answered their own question when they figured it out. It needs repeating here:
Take that file and run it through TMPGEnc's simple de-multiplex, then remultiplex the resulting video and sound files back together using the SVCD type setting.
