  1. Hi, does anybody know of an easy way to fade out clips at the end? Some are cut short and I would like to fade them out so it doesn't stop abruptly. Thank you.

I assume you are talking about video clips shot from a camcorder?
You can do it with an editing software such as Premiere.

Any video editing software can do it. Even Windows Movie Maker 2!

    Fades are easy with AviSynth...

    AVISource('whatever.avi").FadeIn(30)
    AVISource('whatever.avi").FadeOut(30)

    (xx) = # of frames

    etc, etc

  7. I'm sorry, but I have no clue how to even begin using that program. Is there anything simpler to use? Thanks.

  9. So far I only use two. TMPGEnc and VirtualDub. Oh and some features that come with Nero DVD authoring tools, but they make a weird noise when i fade out the end. But that's about it. I'm looking for something easy to use such as TMGEnc. Is there anything?? Thanks.

  10. Might try poking around here: https://www.videohelp.com/tools?section=17#17

But - outside of windows movie maker, don't know of other freeware editors that are simple/easy like you want.
