Voltron was cool 20 years ago when I was a kid. I watch it now: it sucks. Same for He-man, the original Ninja Turtles, MASK, and a few others.

SMURFS! Now THERE'S a classic.

Tom & Jerry, Looney Tunes, Silly Symphonies (old Disney), Top Cat, Flintstones, Jetsons, Ducktales, Transformers, Thundercats, Silverhawks, Pink Panther, Robotech, Batman TAS, Spiderman 1981 ... all come to mind as "greats".

Simpson okay for a while, jumped the shark few years back. Futurama was good for about 15 episodes before it got old. King of the Hill and Beavis & Butthead great ones.

Stripperella makes fun of superheroes. Adult. Funny.

Want amazing story-telling? Try the new JUSTICE LEAGUE cartoon. Paul Dini and Co and doing a great job on it. Same for the NEW Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, great stories.

Most Japanese stuff sucks, but take a look at Big O (same Batman TAS style, serious story), Trigun (funny), Slayers (funny, adult humor), Gundam Wing (serious good story) and the Irresponsible Captain Tylor (funny, adult humor).

Avoid Scooby Doo, Superfriends, and a lot of the 60s/70s superhero cartoons. They plain suck.

Transformers from 1984-1989 was good. Everything else, especially recent shows, are pure garbage. They're like anime shows about kids, when the Transformers guest star.
