  1. Hi guys

I just bought a DV Capture card,
when I use Ulead Video Studio to encode 1 hour video to MPeg2 DVD, it takes 5 hours, is that normal?

any other faster method with better qualities?

    Thank you so much

  2. From what I've seen, yes. Here's my newbie answer cause I'm a newbie.

If u save ur cap as avi, vdub>>frameserver>>tmpgenc/bbmpeg
If u save ur cap as mpg, xmpeg/flask>>frameserve>>tmpgenc/bbmpeg
if u have premiere and save ur cap as dv, premiere>>frameserve>>tmpegnc/bbmpeg

U should save some hours, depending on what filters u enable.

I have Premiere, should I use premiere instead of Ulead Video Studio?

  4. I played with premiere 6 and it seemed easier for me to use, and the frameserver plugin (www.videotools.net) is available for it. I played with the other two ulead products and I didn't see support for the plugin.

For what I do, cutting commericals out from tv captures, flask/xmepg>>frameserver/avisynth>>cce/lsx works for me.
