Help with ATI AIW Audio synch problem when capping to AVI

I just starting trying to cap to avi with my 7500 AIW and am getting pretty horrendous audio synch problems. Off by a second or 2 right away. When I capture MPEG-2 with the card, no synch problems at all. This is using MMC 8.1 and the HuffyUV codec.

Any helpful suggestions on correcting so it caps avi's in synch?

if you've already optimized your system to the best of your ability try different software...virtualdub, virtualvcr and so on

if not, look at some guides like lordsmurf.com

i could never capture avi without dropping massive amounts of frames using mmc but capture great with virtualvcr
