I just got my Lite On 411s today and I wanted to update my firmware, but before I update it. I wanna make sure, I make a back up of the original in case the new firmware goes wrong. I downloaded the Lite On Flash Tool. It has Update and Backup... I tried clicking Backup but it said "No Files Selected." I don't see how I would need a file when backing up ?
Also, for people that have this drive, were you able to burn Princo or Ritek media? and were they able to play on ur DVD Player ?
I just burned a media that came with the box and I cannot play it in my DVD Player or DVD-Rom, it only plays on my DVD-RW. I believe it was a Ricoh.
-R and +R media are the same right? I'm confused on what media to buy... should I buy 25 of the -R and 25 of the +R?
I have a JVC XV-D421 Player
Help would be appreciated. Thanks![]()
