  1. Hi all

    I have a weird problem i burned a dvd -r some days ago and worked fine on my standalone, but today i want to watch it agian and my dvdplayer say no disk.

    what could be the problem here.?

    this is the first time this happend.

    hey reynaldo..need more info please..such as what was it that your burned, type of media, type of set top player..and type of authoring software..thanks..

    Hi - I had a similar thing happen, and it was down to cheap media. I've also had cd-r's do the same thing - I'll burn a copy of a cd for the car, and in a week or two the cd starts skipping or won't even play at all.
    Try different media... One thing I've found on the DVD+RW's I'm using at the moment, as well, is to perform a full format before use rather than a quick erase...

    What is the size of the file on your DVD-R? My DVD-player won't play DVDs with less than 1GB of data and DVD-RWs with less than 4GB of data. To get to these level, I copy some .avi files in the audio_ts subfolder which is so far of no use.

    I burn with nero 5.5.10.15 enterprise edition , casue the the latest version doenst work for me

    and i used princo 4x

    My dvdplayer is a sony and author program Dvd LAb.

    i always use the princo 4x first i had the 2x but those where f...ked up.
