  1. I might seem like an idiot in asking this, and I probably am. I was wondering if there's any way to convert an SWF file to an AVI file with sound other than just recording the sound. Thanks in advance.

  4. Hi there,
Try this little program (WinMPG Video Convert 5.3), you can't stop loving it. It eats nearly every format (SWF, ASF, MOV, MPG, AVI....) and throws out AVI, MPG (VCD, SVCD and DVD), Divx.

    Here is the link: http://www.winmpg.com/download.html

  5. Thanks, this is a godsend. Now I just need ot figure out how to download the flash movies on newgrounds...

Anybody know how to do that?

EDIT: Unfortunately, I just tried using the program, and it wouldn't work. If anybody can give me a program that'll convert this flash movie, or do it for me, I would be endlessly greateful.

I think the only way is the one shown in the guide. The bottom line is that you need a program that records sound played on your PC in real-time, in order to capture the sound of your SWF file.

As for downloading Flash movies, the way I do it is to let the movie play inside Internet Explorer and then go to Internet Temporary Files and copy the SWF file into a different folder on my hard-disk.
