Questions about making a mixed DVD

I had followed Baldrick's guide to making a mixed DVD from other sources. In my case, I just extracted a few scenes from one movie to make a demo disc. After extraction by DVD Shrink and burning with Nero to a +RW, there are short video and audio pauses when going to the next track during playback. Is there a way to make it flow continuously? Should I use another software? Thanks.

DVDShrink outputs a Multiple VTS and a pause between them is due to your player. But why is that a problem ?

It's not a real problem, but I'd just hoped that it would transition without the pauses, as I had tried it on my two DVD players. I reauthored it through ReJig & TMPGenc's DVD Author for menus, and the pauses are shorter, but not gone. So I was thinking may be I can try another software.
