    I am seriously in search of US Robotics Performance Pro modem users who are using this particular modem in Pentium 4 PCs. My modem is not getting detected in Pentium 4 2.4 Ghz PC/Intel D875 PBF mainboard/WinXP Pro/. The same modem gets identified easily in Pentium III 500 Mhz/Asus P3B-F mainboard. Please advise!

    I have already checked the support page of USRobotics, downloading all the latest firmwares and Control Center Program but my modem is not being identified by the PC. Is this a general problem with all the Pentium 4 PCs users ?

    Yes, I have changed the position of the modem from one slot to another and still it doesnt work. I live in a remote area where there is no other alternative than depending on telephone line for internet.
