DVD ripping question

I am trying to backup some of my DVDs using a mixture of ANYDVD and CLONE DVD 2.

Most of the ones I have done so fat have worked, my question is about he couple that don't seem to want to work.

The reading process on Clone DVD usually gets to a certain percentage then hits a VOB which it can't read. I have tried cleaning the DVD but I really don't think that is the problem.

I think for some reason or another the VOB is not accessable.

Anybody encountered this problem before or even have a solution to it?

Unfortunaetly not all drives, and media (blank and pre-recorded) are created equal, and glitches like this can occur.

Although i dont use the same software as you (i use DVD Shrink, Nero and DVD Decrypter) i have had similar problems.

I got round it by using my other DVD drive to read the disc initially, and this worked first time without any problems.
