I was sick of burning at a whopping 4x speed on overpriced CDRWs...did a little searching of compatible CDRs since Sony DVD players don't like CDR and bought the recommended Prime Peripherals CDRs...work like a charm and burning at 12x on my Plextor. 50 Pack spindle for $14.00. Cheap.

Does your Prime Peripherals have "PRINCO" inscribed in the center ring? Or... did you run CDRIdentifer and it displayed that it was made by Princo?

*Some* not all Prime Peripherals CDRs are made by Princo. The ones I currently possess aren't. =|
Princo CDRs are known to be compatible on most DVD Players.

Jeomite: Guess I'm lucky then cuz mine say Princo on the inner ring. I'm gonna go pick up the 2 packs they have left. Can't beat 14.00 for a 50 Pack of Sony compatible CDR.

Pinoy2201: I bought them at Office Max.
