  1. Do I have to install a new codec? When I import an Mpeg2 video into Premier I don't see the image, only the sound.

premiere doesn't really edit mpeg2 . though there is plugins to do so ...

even then - premiere 6 is not a mpeg2 editor and shouldn't be used for it ..

  3. Is it possible to frameserve the mpeg to Premiere? I tried to but Adobe kept saying it was corrupt or an unsupported type. I read almost all of the guides, but could not get it to work. Most of the guides focus on frameserving from Premiere or to TMPGEnc, could the same be applied to Premiere. I found one that was specify designed to frameserve to Premiere, but it involved using project files and VOBs.
