Bad CD

Hi Guys,

I have a VCD which seems to be bad.. I try to copy it with Roxio.. But it does not copy. I tried using VCDGear. But it stops at 1%...

Is there any other good free software tht I can use to copy a VCD to VCD..

You say the VCD seems to be bad. What does that mean ?
Will it play on your PC or DVD Player ?
If it will not work then you cannot expect to copy it.

If it won't do a straight copy, I would use Isobuster to extract the mpeg from the disc. Then use my burning software to create a VideoCD with the mpeg.

Try using CDRDAO and the disc copy example they have on their website.

I use it all the time to make copies of my VCDs with no problems and, of course, its free
