  1. Ok, for a while now i have been copying some episode discs using OSEx to rip into Elem. Streams, and then Sizzle 5 to put the dvd's back together so i dont lose any quality. Then ripping them with Toast 5.2.1, all with no problems.

Using the exact same process, using files from a dvd that has worked before, i keep getting Error -108 in Toast. Went to the Roxio site, they say that it is most likely due to bad files in my Video_ts folder. So, I erased everything, recopied it all with OSEx, threw it in Sizzle, but i still get the same problem when going to burn it. Oh yeah, i also upgraded toast to 5.1.3.

I dont think that i changed any settings, but i just redownloaded Sizzle and will try it again.

Anyone experience this, or know what to do?

    Oh, just in case, I've got a G4 PB 1.33 Ghz, with a Matshita DVD-r UJ-816 superdrive.

As you learned, this is what the Toast knowledgebase says about that error:

    Issue
Error messages -108 is generated when burning DVDs

    Cause
This particular error is usually caused when there is a problem with the layout of your Video_TS folder, which is the folder that contains your video DVD content.

    Resolution
It would be a good idea to go back to your DVD authoring application and have it re-create this folder.

Toast guru freshburn says there probably is a problem with the .BUP or .IFO files (or that they may be missing).

  3. I've tried numerous times to do just that, I've started over from scratch, and still get the same error. I tried just one episode, instead of 4 as i had been doing, and that worked fine, so i tried 4 episodes, and got the same -108 error.

May be a problem with the way Sizzle is doing its title menu.
